Maggie’s Fundraising Day

On the 26th October 2023 we held a fundraising day in support of Maggie’s Newcastle.
Based at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, the Centre is a warm and welcoming place to unwind, a place to find information or switch off from it, a place to talk about cancer or forget about it.
We hosted a series of activities on the day including:
- A tombola
- General knowledge quiz Mario Kart knockout event
- Chilli eating challenge
- ‘Guess the weight of the cake’ and ‘Guess how many cups of tea we drank’ sweepstakes
- Bake sale
- Raffle
Thanks to the generosity of partners and suppliers we managed to raise an amazing £1,858.54.
