The case:

Our client attended his local hospital complaining of severe testicular pain and suspected that his testicle had twisted. He recognised the symptoms having experienced these same symptoms 8 years prior, resulting in the removal of his left testicle.

Despite explaining his medical history to doctors, he was misdiagnosed with an infection and sent home. Returning 2 hours later with increasing levels of pain and having waited through the night to be seen again by a doctor, he was eventually diagnosed with a twisted testicle requiring immediate surgery.

Our client continued to experience problems post-surgery due to the wound becoming infected and his experience has impacted overall his quality of life.
