13 disrepair issues

The case:
Our client had been living in a property for a period of 6 years.
During that time, she had reported 13 separate issues of disrepair in her home from cracked external brickwork, internal ceiling and wall cracks in numerous rooms, loose floorboards on the landing and bedrooms, the presence of mould in the bedrooms, faulty drainage in the kitchen and a rodent infestation. Asbestos was also present throughout the downstairs of the property in the ceilings.
Despite reporting the many instances of disrepair on the property to the landlord and local authority, the issues continued without repair which had a detrimental impact on our client’s mental health and was a contributing factor to the breakdown of her marriage.
