⚽️ Unbeaten and Unstoppable: True Wins Charity 5-a-Side Tournament! 🏆
On the 18th September our squad of Dale, jonny, Steven, nathaniel, james, adam and craig took to the pitch at Manchester’s Powerleague – not just for the glory, but for a great cause. For the third year running, competing in the National Claims charity 5-a-side football tournament in support of Shelter, our team stormed to victory, winning all 7 games out of 7 and conceding just 5 goals the entire day!
It wasn’t just about lifting the Trophy – the event raised vital funds for Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity doing life-changing work across the UK.
Special mention goes to our very own Nathaniel who took home the defender of the tournament award and Jonny Archbold who was named Player of the Tournament! (Rumour has it Steven was robbed, but it’s all subjective… )
A huge thank you to National Claims, Powerleague, all the teams involved, and of course, Shelter, for hosting such a well organised event.
