We’re delighted to announce that after a nomination process and team vote, we have chosen The People’s Kitchen in Newcastle upon Tyne as our chosen charity for 2025-2025.

Founded in 1985, the charity make life on the streets a little easier by sharing hot meals and packages of clothing, toiletries, food, mobile phones and sleeping bags. They work with services to enable people to move off the streets and then provide food, furniture and bedding to our Friends when they move into their first home. They also offer friendship and professional services to improve mental wellbeing.

Between 1st October 2025 and 30th September 2026, the team at True will coordinate a range of fundraising activities to raise much needed funds for the charity.
