The case:
Whilst at work, our client was operating a reach truck, proceeding along a road in the warehouse.
Another employee operating an LLOP (low level order picker) emerged unseen from one of the side roads hitting our client’s truck.
Initial injuries suffered by the client included numbness and pain in his right upper limbs, neck pain and pins and needles in his right hand.
As his physical movement was limited to 50% of normal, further medical examinations and an MRI revealed that he had suffered from musculoligamentous sprain on his cervical and upper thoracic spine as a direct result of the incident with an expected recovery time with ongoing sessions of physio anticipated to be 12-15 months.#
