TRUE Solicitors Donate Christmas Food To Local Foodbank

TRUE Solicitors LLP has donated 4 crates and 3 boxes of Christmas food to Newcastle East Foodbank in Heaton.
Newcastle East Foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, whose mission is to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. The foodbank is committed to providing emergency food and support to local people in times of crisis.
Sadly Christmas is not a time of celebration and indulgence for everyone. Many of the regions poorest need to use a foodbank for themselves and their family during December. Community Projects Manager Julia Lawton explains that, ‘Newcastle East Foodbank has bank has been overwhelmed by the support from companies, like TRUE Solicitors, in the North East. We have received more donations than ever this year.’
TRUE Solicitors’ Dale Milligan highlights the consumer law firm’s commitment to giving back to the community, ‘This is the second year we have donated to Newcastle East Foodbank. The team at TRUE are a generous bunch and it’s great to see that the food donated will help to make a difference to those in need on Christmas Day!’
Newcastle Foodbank East is open Wednesdays and Fridays 10.00- 12.30 for those with a valid foodbank voucher.
