Coping with a P.I. accident or injury – The Loss of Routine

We all know that the unexpected can happen, but we still don’t really plan for it or think about what the effects might be.

If you’re injured in an accident, the effects can have a big impact on your life in the short to medium term.

In this blog, we look at the first negative effect that an enforced lay-up can have on you, your family and your day-to-day life. Plus, we look at some basic advice on how you can get through it.

The Loss of Routine

For the majority of people a full day stuck in the house doesn’t come naturally; in fact it can be incredibly frustrating, especially if your mobility is restricted.
However, most injuries won’t prevent you from using your time effectively.

Think about how you can use your time to assist your claim:

  • Keep a written log/diary of how your injuries are affecting your life.
  • Note how much assistance you’re receiving from friends and relatives.
  • Keep a detailed record of the expenses you have incurred as a result of the accident.

This will really help your Case Manager at TRUE Solicitors to support your case. You could even use the time to do the jobs you’ve always been meaning to do but never had the time for!

Don’t resign yourself to being non-productive, don’t feel as though your time is being wasted – be strong, be positive and be creative with your time.

And, of course, your TRUE Case Manager is only ever a phone call away.
