The case:
Our client was travelling home from work on his motorcycle and was stationary waiting to enter a roundabout when he was hit by a 3rd party from the rear.
His motorcycle received damage to the rear mudguard and back wheel along with a loose back box and bent rear luggage holder.
Injuries sustained included whiplash to his lower back and neck, pain and bruising to his right foot, chest and pain around his collarbone area. He underwent physiotherapy to alleviate his pain. Recovery took a period of 6 months for his shoulder, 2 months for his neck and 5 weeks for his foot/chest.
The 3rd party admitted liability for the accident and our client received £5,000 compensation.
